Our September Carry Train class met with excellent shooting weather on range day. Carry Train is a smaller, easy to schedule portion of our Graceful Guns 1st Degree Class: Holsters, Vehicles and Multiple Assailants At the Wrong Time.
Dry-fire Sessions are an opportunity for gaining familiarity with your firearm. There are many elements to pistol technique that may be smoothed into a unified flow before the noise and recoil of range-work are added to the mix.
Some students have specific difficulties with form and fundamentals that can lead to much frustration when bullet placement is poor. It is best to coordinate stance, grip, trigger pull and eye focus before letting lead fly.
A positive live-fire experience is a valuable reinforcement of all classroom learning. It is best to prepare for this positive experience by debugging as needed in the dry-fire or empty-gunning mode.
