RTBAV @ Sportsman’s – September 2014

NRA Certified Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor, Suzanne Masterson with class at Grand Junction Sportsman's Warehouse on the Mezzanine by a cougar.
This was a fun new environment for a Refuse Seminar. The acoustics blended a close environment with the Omni-full store background.

March Carry Train
“Having been to other more commercial shooting courses, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Because of the small number of students, we were able to do much more than I have before. The scenarios were realistic, and they make you think about how you can prepare for the time when you may have to use a gun to save a life. Very useful, thought provoking. You can’t walk away from the course without thinking about something new.” -John
“This was my second class with Guy & Suzanne. First for my CC Permit. Both were over-the-top excellent. Very inviting, thorough & I walked away with a better understanding in both the legalities involved and handgun efficiency.” -Steve

Cabela’s NRA Weekend 2013

December DPR
Three men of military background team up to quickly expend ammo. Wheel gunner with 327 & speed loaders holds his own even against the 16 round capacity 92FS. It is good to see people with firearm background recognize the need for pistol skill refreshment.

The Picnic
In our certification classes for new NRA firearms instructors, we use a special shooting event to evaluate skill. We call this course of fire, “The Picnic.”
Like any good picnic worth its salt, paper plates abound and there is activity aplenty.
Different from other picnics, we deal with the marshmallows first! When time permits, we use the marshmallow tower of spaghetti, tape & string to help our candidate instructional teams bond.
Pureland Security is the division of Graceful Guns where we run our National Rifle Association programs.

Gun Class Under Shade Canopy
The real July heat was much softened by our serious shade canopy. Photo is from our Monthly Defensive Pistol Refresher. In this class we cover the Use of Force Law, study defensive shooting technique, contemplate keys of the defensive mindset & shoot 200 rounds.

Couples Tackling Defense
Couples that take the plunge into safety by defensive preparedness have a lot of fun and build an important accord. Survival is a strong instinct and wise decision. Here is something new to do together that pays dividends in many other areas of relationship-life.
A comment from Sydney: “I’ve taken other courses that were WAY too large so the smaller class was excellent! Also, the fact we got to shoot at a range was amazing and I had a lot more fun than I anticipated. I was very comfortable the whole time. The material was broken down for anyone to understand and comprehend. The price of the class was extremely reasonable (and much cheaper than other courses I have taken) and I felt very comfortable walking away from this class where at the other classes I did not. Guy & Suzanne genuinely care about our comfortability and safety. I now feel that I have the knowledge and experience to apply for my CWP which I didn’t have before. I cannot wait to sign up for other classes they offer.”
